[AIS] WYC West Lot + Crane Access

As a reminder, the West Lot will be closed for two weeks starting next Monday 5th October. The construction project will improve the drainage to prevent standing water, and improve runoff filtration to protect the lake. The contractor will make the area around the crane accessible during the weekend of the 10th/11th October. The plan is the project will be complete by Friday 16th October, although this being 2020 there is a contingency to stretch to Friday Oct 23rd. Note: the crane WILL be accessible each weekend during October to aid members with their haul-out plans. 

Some will ask why we haven't delayed the project. The reality is the project requires good weather. The volunteers managing this project did not want to risk early ice like last year, or late ice that would delay the 2021 season.

Stay tuned for COVID compliant assisted haul-out plans for the weekends of 24/25th Oct and 31st Sept/1st October.
