Hi Gang,

Well I just got back from a weekend of racing in Bayfield and now it's time
to put the final touches on our Regatta. I see there are now 29 boats
registered. I hope we get 3 or 4 more. Here are some thought and things you
need to do.

1) Please respond to Jillbull at comcast.net with what you plan to bring to the
Friday night potluck dinner. Select a course, ie: appetizer, main course,
side dish, salad, or dessert and let Jill know what you want to bring so we
have a good mix. Bring about 30-40 normal sized servings of whatever you
choose. Figure out how you will have it ready to serve an hour after the
fleet arrives back at the dock Friday night. If it needs to heat or cook,
remember the kitchen is pretty limited. A crook pot works well as an outlet
can probably be located. If you let Jill know you will need the oven, she
will make sure only two or three people plan on that.

2) Let Victoria Pilko know if you want box lunches ($5.00 each) and have not
already ordered and paid for them. Box lunches must be ordered by Wednesday
(tomorrow) afternoon to be assured you will get them. If you want extra
dinner tickets for Saturdays rum party and dinner ($10 each), please let
Victoria know that as well. 5 tickets come with each registration.

3) Support the raffle....................Tickets will be $5.00 each or 6 for
$25 or 15 for $50. We need an average of $50 in sold raffle tickets per boat
to keep this regatta in the black. Maybe your boat wants to pool their
resources to buy 15 tickets.

4) Be sure your boat meets all the class rules. Cushions or weights need to
be in place. Floor boards, battery, anchor and all original equipment need
to be on board. If you have any doubts or questions, contact a rules
committee member. None of the rules for the local boats have changed so this
should not be an issue.

5) Check in with the registration committee Thursday afternoon or evening to
get your Sailing Instructions and read them over before attending the
SKIPPERS MEETING at 8:30 Friday morning.

6) Support our sponsors. They are making this happen at very little cost to
the participants.

HAVE FUN........................................
