2007 Capri One Design Championship

It's way past time to start planning for our regatta. There will be an organizational meeting after this week's Thursday night race to allow you to add your input and sign up to help where you are best suited. We will meet on the balcony after the race. To start, each boat needs to read the attached and express your opinion. Costs are rising and its time we run this regatta without having to ask a few members of our fleet to donate money so we can all party for less. Below is a budget for this years regatta. Please review it and indicate what elements you would keep and what you would cut and how much you are willing to pay.

Expenses:
Race committee & boat gas:						$1,500
Trophies:                        $600 for 1st -5th or $1,000 for 1st -10th         $1,000
Beer for the weekend:							$   500
Rum Party on Saturday:                                                                       $    500
Band Saturday night:                                                                            $    500
Friday cook out for 100:						$   500
Saturday dinner for 100:						$1,000
						Total Expenses	$5,500

Income:
Registration at $120 per boat:						$2,400
Shirts & hats:								$   200
Raffle & sail silent auction:						$2,000
						Total Income 		$4,600
