Ahoy, Capri Sailors!  Get ready for the best Sunday afternoon of the year.
The (in)famous Capri 25 C Dock Party is August 21st.

 

Our theme this year is "SAILING TALES."  We're not talking about "once upon
a time" fairy tales.  We're looking for sailing tales of the "I $#!t you
not" kind.

We encourage all boats to tell their tales with all the folklore they can
muster. Let's hear the story behind your boat's name, your best sailing
memory, worst sailing experience, etc.  Sailors' embellishments are
encouraged and welcomed.

 

For boats who want to take it to the next level, decorate your boat like its
namesake. For example: Tsunami decorated like a huge wave; Rampage like a
disaster area; Taxi like a.well you get the idea!

 

Your Capri social committee has listened to your concerns.  In an effort to
increase boat participation, we hope to lessen the prep time for each boat.
This year the food will be served on the lawn in front of the C dock. The
fleet will supply the meat/buns (still working out the details).  We ask
that each participating boat bring a side dish, either hot or cold, that
will feed 15 people. In addition to serving up tall tales, we also ask each
boat to serve up the alcohol of their choosing to our guests walking the
dock. Surprises await those who make it to the end of the dock.

 

Signup sheets for food will be sent out next week along with more details.
Let's make this the most attended C Dock party ever!
