7:00 - Opening Remarks (John)



7:05 - Acknowledgement of Fleet Volunteers (John)

            Thanks to Odell Tuttle (Capri Nationals) Kathy Wright, Barnie'
Barnes, Karen Maestoso, CC          Velarde (Social Committee), Todd Myers
(Webpage support), Renee Corbin (Awards Chair)

            

7:15 - Financial Review Treasurer's Report (Bill)

            Overall, we are already $3,000 ahead from last year mainly due
to the Capri Nationals.

            Approximate current account balance is $7,000

            2011 expenses were C-dock party, Stanchions (which John Speltz
has stored), trophies, printing,             etc.

            
            Capri 25 Nationals Report (Odell) 

            A successful event was due to many valuable volunteers.  Odell
felt every few years is often       enough for the fleet to host this event.

            

7:25 - Meeting Organization (John)

            Voting 1 man 1 vote

            Quorum - was achieved by numbers attending

            Procedure 3 minutes per person, 3 rounds

 

7:30 - Election of Officers

            Majority of officers extended their terms, with a few new
nominations...

            Fleet captain - John Speltz

            Treasurer/Secretary - Bill Laughlin

            Rules Chair - Nils Brennom

            Tech Chair - Dan McNamara

            Awards Chair - Renee Corbin

            Social Chair - Kathy Wright and Karen Maestoso

            Crew Reps - Rudy Ruedenberg, Barnie' Barnes and Derek Schmit

 

7:45 - New Business    

            Rule Changes - Steve Truax

.         Eliminate 8 sail registration requirement - PASSED

.         Redefined used sail as anything less than $1,000 - PASSED

Ideas Forum

.         Woman's Big Island trophy missing - need to research possible
leads to locate, otherwise will need to replace out of our account

.         Award $300 to key volunteers from Capri Nationals at OT's
discretion - PASSED

.         New "Harvest Moon" race created - PASSED

.         110% Jib sails to not count towards new sail purchases - PASSED

.         $300 budget minimum for social committee going forward (starting
balance from Capri National Rum money - PASSED

.         Rumble in Bay at end of G series again (Nils Brennom /Peter Ice to
work out scoring relative to overall Capri fleet scoring) - PASSED

.         John Koss to build 5 bow pulpits for $500-$600 each, 50% down,
delivered by May 1, 2012 - PASSED.  John Koss to modify 3 previously
purchased stern rails at $65 each - PASSED

.         Steve Truax offered to sell his new bow pulpit for $450

.         Star of the North participation - PASSED

.         Trip opportunity to BVI organized by Reid Isberg (Kathy Wright's
friend) for Feb/March; call 952-949-0720 or email

.         Consider Bayfield Race Week!

.         Jeff Henninger, struggling with health issues, continues to keep
his spirits up!  Fleet was thinking about him and wished him all the best.

.         Match Racing will be happening again; call Dan McNamara if
