At our fleet meeting this winter, we decided to get a trophy to be awarded to the winner of the race(s) the day of the C-dock party. Attached is picture of the new trophy.
Since we have a Rumble on the day of the C-dock party, there is also homebrew on the line.

So everyone please come out. This is a good opportunity to win a trophy, and the more people and boats involved in the party the better it will be.

Please, do respond to the social committee if your boat will be part of the party. We want to know who will attend, not necessarily what sports team/theme you will do.

Subject: Announcing the C Dock Party theme for 2013

3 weeks and counting until the world famous C Dock party on Sunday August 18th. This years theme will be "Tailgating on the C Dock". Pick your favorite sports team whether it's high school, college, professional or honor your favorite sport in general. This can be as easy as searching your home for sports paraphernalia or going all out [because we know some of you will "take the ball and run" with this theme].

We want YOU!!. Our goal is to make it as easy and cost effective to encourage your participation. To make that happen; the fleet will once again provide the main food item and is asking each boat to provide a side dish and beverage for our hungry and thirsty guests who "walk the dock". The Capri fleet will have a pontoon anchored near the "T" of the dock and will be serving gourmet hot dogs (not an oxymoron) along with a hot dog bar.

We have a reputation to uphold for this party. This is a widely anticipated event for other fleets to attend. Boat owners: If you are unavailable, please encourage your crew to step-in and represent your boat.

It's not necessary to let us know your sport team or the food you will be bringing, but we would like to get an idea who plans to be there. Please respond to the Capri social committee by August 11th.  Our goal is to have 66% of the fleet attending, which is 20 boats. Let's make that happen!
