[Capri25] 2013 Capri 25 Annual Meeting and Party

Hi Capri-25 sailors,

 

1.    Attached is the Rev A draft schedule. I will be at the meeting, and if
you have questions feel free to ask either in the meeting or to me
personally.



2.    New to this year's schedule are the one day regattas primarily in
Wayzata Bay similar to the rumble in the bays that you have run. You all
need to decide as a fleet when you want these one day regattas to start. The
choices are 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 AM, 1 PM. We are planning to have no races
start after 3 PM so that the Rumble Fleet can get back to the yacht club
about the same time as the fleet's coming in off the main Lake were also
planning to run that in a north-south wind in the Main Lake but still on a
short course.



3.    The fleet also needs to decide if any changes to your fleet special
rules so that we can get them posted on the official website of the Wayzata
yacht club for "official fleet rules".



4.    Would like to also talk about the family fun regatta, which should be
a perfect event for many of the families in the Capri 25 fleet, and this
year is going to be expanded with a really fun time after the lunch of hot
dogs and ice cream bar with games, Johnny jump up, nutrition, balloon
artist, and face painter artist

7:00 PM owners meeting

8:30 PM party

WHERE: Darin Busch's and Sandy Dostal's home at 5360 Vine Hill Road,
Excelsior, MN 

WHY: To save the fleet from utter destruction by wild cats

HOW: POTLUCK/BYOB, bring a dish to pass OR drinks to share.  This year,
along with the potluck food table, there will be a separate table for
"drinks to share".
