[Capri25] FW: Sundays in August

If you want more boats perhaps not putting it during "church" times
would help. I loved the Rumble the other years, but haven't participated
for the reason I stated.

I got a few email replies and talked to a few people about the start
time for the Rumble on Sunday Aug 3. I got pretty even responses of
10:30 and 12:00. So we will leave it as schedules 12:00. Last race of
the Rumble to start by 3:00.

 

I would love to see more boats out there. It's a lot of fun. It's quite
intensive. Great close boat work practice for crew and skipper alike. 

Also, there are prizes of homebrew for the top 3 finishers.

In case you haven't noticed, in August, Sunday races begin at 10:30am on
the Main Lake.

The club is trying out something different to see if it will increase
participation.

(Note that the scheduled time goes back to 2:00 pm for September,
actually Aug 31).

 

 

The Capri Rumble for August is scheduled for Aug 3. It is currently on
the schedule for 12:00 pm start.

I would like feedback (from skippers especially) if we should change
that 10:30 to match the time that other boats will be starting out on
the Main Lake.
