Fleet captains, please promote the rescheduled Bob Slocum event to your fleets. Most of the attendees still plan to come, so we still need your boats!!!!

Dear WYC fleets:

We've rescheduled the Bob Slocum Memorial Family Fun Regatta and Picnic for June 21. Please let Heather Fraser (heatherf at pcspeed.com<mailto:heatherf at pcspeed.com>) know if you are still in, or can now make the event at the new time! Registration link below:

The rescheduled event is built around Saturday's Big Island race, but you don't need to do the Big Island race to participate. Here's how it will play out:

Attendees meet at the club sometime between 11:30 and noon for socializing, games, and lifejacket distribution. Some of the boats will already be out on the water for the Big Island race. We'll wait for them to come in (probably about 12:30) then we'll have our picnic with ice-cream sundae bar.

After the picnic, attendees who don't have a boat will board one and go out for a boat ride! There's nothing scheduled after that.

If you're a boat owner/driver, we'd love to have you come at 11:30 to join in the fun, but you could probably show up as late as 12:30 as long as we know you're coming and have you lined up with passengers.
