CATALINA
When we discussed “Capri” on the phone, I was thinking “Capri
22’s” which they sail in Peoria, all the while you were thinking “Capri
25’s”  Oops!  This doesn’t sound like a connection.  
 
There is a Catalina owners organization in the Chicago Region
called “Catalina Fleet 21”.  I have no idea which Catalina models might be
in this group, but you might reach out to them for some publicity - http://catfleet21.org/
 
GROWING SAILING
I wrote an article about how we in sailing “Talk to Ourselves” and
don’t talk to people outside of sailing to get them into sailing.  I write
for two different audiences now –

 Below is the link to our National Regatta, if you could kindly forward to
any sailors interested.  How many Capri 25's does Peoria have?
 Is this the same as the Illinois Valley Yacht club?
 We will have over two
fleets racing: over 20 Capri 25's and hopefully a few Catalina 250's.
