[Capri25] WYC High School Regatta Saturday July 16th 9:00 AM

Seeking volunteers and Capri 25 boats to help with the WYC High School
Regatta this Saturday July 16 at 9:00 AM.  The gun goes off at 10:30.  It's
a rumble format in the bay to 12:00-12:15.  Free lunch afterwards. We piggy
back the Bob Slocum Regatta. Works best for 2-3 adults per boat to help
instruct.  I don't have any idea how many kids will show- likely not more
than 15 although we ask them to send back permission slips.  Last year we
found it takes more time to teach how to rig a boat and practice... that is
why the late start.       

 

Wayzata, Minnetonka, Calhoun and White Bear Sailing Schools have all been
invited that support the High School Programs.  They have sent out emails to
all their students.  It's best to have more boats then needed so I ask to be
flexible... last year Magic helped with other boats.
