Calling All Wayzata Yacht Club Women Sailors:
 
San Diego Yacht Club is hosting their 3rd Annual Women’s Winter Invitational Feb 15 – 16, 2020 and Wayzata Yacht Club has been invited to nominate a team.  The event will be sailed in chartered J/22 with no spinnakers.  Teams from all over the country consisting of 3 – 4 women (no weight limit) over the age of 18 are invited to sail in this short course fleet racing event. WYC has appointed a selection committee of Charlie Schroeder, Andy Spence-Parsons, Beth Frampton and up to two additional individuals to review resumes of interested teams for the right to represent WYC at this wonderful, warm event.  

To apply, send your team’s sailing resume to Commodore at wyc.org <mailto:Commodore at wyc.org> & Vice.Commodore at WYC.org <mailto:Vice.Commodore at WYC.org>.  Resumes are due to November 18, 2019.  Each member on the team must be a WYC member. 

Teams will be notified by November 27, 2019 and registration due to SDYC by December 1, 2019. 

Anticipated costs of the event include:  
$100 per person registration and social fee
$100 per team charter fee
$1000 damage deposit (fully refunded if not utilized)
Travel and lodging costs
Mandatory US Sailing membership for every participant.
