<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Jodie Hertig and I have volunteered to coordinate this year's Wayzata Sailing Foundation (WSF) Silent Auction and would like to solicit your help. As you know, the WSF has done so much to bring the joy and excitement of sailing to people from all walks of life. Last year, the auction raised $9,700 and we'd like to think that we can meet or surpass this number in 2003. Also, Jodie and I vow to make the auction preparation a good time by planning a few get-togethers with volunteers to meet, coordinate, and socialize.</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">The auction will be held in November and there is a lot of work to do!</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Solicitors for commercial vendor donations (2)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Solicitors for WYC member donations (2)</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">One 'Guard' to watch the stuff - no firearms needed! (1)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Collection Site Coordinator (1)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Collection helpers (3-4)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Cashiers (2)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Delivery person with a Suburban (or something 'big') and one to help collect/move items (2)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">Last but not least, the fleet with the most participation in volunteering (Capri 25, hint, hint...our turn!) will receive 10% of the proceeds from the auction. Of the 15 positions, we need another 7 volunteers to take the majority of positions and bring some serious cash to the Capri fleet.</FONT> </P>
