The RC has no unique knowledge of the weather. Most of the member
boats spend their Thursday afternoon watching the many weather stations, radars,
forecasts, and projections. I believe most sailors are as informed about
the weather situation as the RC. It is the responsibility of every
individual to make the right decision about their whereabouts regarding the
weather. Anyone concerned about their safety should stay home.
There is no debate about any decision to stay ashore until the storm
passes. <o:p></o:p></p>

opportunities for protest. I request that the PRO consider postponement

decision to notify us earlier was out of courtesy, and was simply his
effort to best serve the overall needs of our racers (and Thursdays are about
more than just racing...). </span><o:p></o:p></p>
