<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>While this seems like the obvious place to attach

just behind (as close as possible to) the gooseneck pivot point. This
removes outhaul compression loads from your gooseneck. It won't effect your

have an attachment point, make one.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>We've been known to break a few goose-necks too. I believe the best

they're quite a bit sturdier than the originals.</DIV>

class=gmail_quote>Greetings,
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>I have a Capri 25 way out in Salt Lake City. We have had it for
about 1 season. I was looking through your class thread and wonder if
you know anyone there who has replaced the stock boom gooseneck? Ours
is getting tweaked by the hard boom kicker installed by the previous owner.
I would buy another from Catalina direct but it seems like the
current one is not up to the job.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Any thoughts or ideas on who might have tired something else?</DIV>
