*2021 WYC Just Try It! event*

*July 17, 2021*



*ATTENTION BOAT OWNERS!*

The WYC Membership Committee is again welcoming those who are new to
sailing or want to see what sailing is all about at WYC without being
overwhelmed with information in the classroom.

The year the event will be held Saturday, July 17th, after the normal
Saturday race is concluded (approx. 12:30 pm)

Many of those new to sailing learn more from doing rather than listening,
this is a chance to do just that.  Trim a sail, be at the helm of the boat,
and hoist a sail. This will be an opportunity for them to learn a few
practical sailing basics in a cruising atmosphere and have some fun.

Boats are needed for this annual event. Please take a moment to sign up on
this link https://forms.gle/odzKF4Y93UJcVUJn7 by July 7th or ASAP so we can
update the registration numbers.

P.S. Always best to have 2 experienced sailors aboard with these new folks
