[Ensign] WYC Single/Double Handed reminders and clarifications

Hello All – I have been asked to provide some clarification, and reminders about the expansion of the single/double handed events.

The original NOR/SI showed a four race series in June.  That series has concluded.

NOR/SI Amendment 5 created two additional series as follows;
Second Series: July 12, 19 & 26
Third Series: August 2, 9, 16 & 23

As a reminder, the single/double handed series does not count towards participation points or Boat of the Year points per NOR/SI B2.14 and B2.15.


Start Sequence: 
NOR/SI Amendment 4 expanded the number of starts to three as follows;

0:00 Warning White
0:03 Preparatory ‘I’ Flag
0:06 PHRF Rating >179 Red - this includes J22 and Ensign
0:09 PHRF Rating 173-179 Red - this includes Capri 25 and Sonar
0:12 PHRF Rating <173 Red - this includes J24, J70, and S2 7.9

The new SH/DH is a wonderful addition to the schedule. Hope these clarifications help.
