[J22-Fleet 1] WYC Shallow Water!

Perhaps this is common knowledge for this time of year and low water,
but don't want anyone else to get burned like this newbie did last
evening...
 
I was approaching the main channel out in front of the public ramp from
the southwest at maybe ~45 deg to the channel but aiming to the center.
Just as I was passing the west buoy maybe 10-15 yards to the south of it
- i.e. I was just between the two marks - I bumped bottom several times
only getting free as I got toward the center of the channel.  
 
Ouch!
