Hi All,
 
Would you email/speak to your fleet about a WYC event on Sat. Sept 8?   We did a “Star Tribune deal” for that day to bring new adults (probably non sailors) to the WYC to introduce them to “sailboat racing” and the “wonderful WYC”, and we need some of your skippers to bring their boats and 1 crew to take these non-sailors out for our Racing Drills, the same ones we do in May each year.
 
Please have each skipper email me so I know we will have enough boats.
 
22 people paid $70 for this event which included a $50 voucher for a “a learn to sail lesson” next year.  
 
SCHEDULE ON SATURDAY 9/8
 
8:00- Registration (Warren, Ernie, Teri) and continental breakfast (Steve).  
 
8:15- Boat owners arrive, to receive instructions and rig their boat.  (Bert)
 
8:30- Short talk about racing, the WYC, and the drills for the day.  (Bert)
 
8:45- Guests will be assigned to the boats and go out promptly. (Ernie)
 
12:00 Grilled lunch (Steve) Beer & Wine (Paul Quast is supplying wines from his St. Croix winery).
