To all,  
The Minnetonka Yacht Club is offering a one year "special" for  new boat 
owners to the club.  If you purchase an adult full, couple or  family 
membership at MYC, you do not need to pay the normal boat registration  fee.  If you 
ever wanted to have your boat registered at both WYC  & MYC, even if for 
only one year, this would be the year.
The racing fee, especially for the J22 Fleet members who  already have 
reciprocity for the Fleet #1 and midweek series, has been a major  issue 
preventing some boat owners from joining both clubs.  
MYC holds races on several occasions when there are no WYC  races.  If you 
stay in town for Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day,  come out and do a 
10 am race and then stop by Light House Island for  lunch.  Given our small 
Fleet at MYC, you might even take home a historic  sterling silver traveling 
trophy for one year.  You can also come out for  any Wednesday night grill, 
even if you do not race.

Important:  You should note that there is a 12 race  minimum (more than 
half of which you would fulfill just by racing the  normal Fleet #1 Saturday 
morning races in June).
