This weekend...Fall regatta sponsored by WYC.  Looks like great weather.  I know of 2 boats for sure that will be out there, I'll also be out with my kids for Sunday's race.  

 

Next weekend...The District Championships/Evergreen Cup.  The NOR is on the J22's home page  http://wyc.org/j22/Home.aspx  

 

Please give me a heads up for attendance so we can plan the food accordingly.  Jill has agreed to be our executive chef and is already working up the menu.  I can't wait.

 

We can use 2 volunteers on the RC boat each day.  Please let me know if you are interested and I will have Jarod contact you about possible jobs.  Lunch and dinner will be provided for RC and volunteers.

 

Finally, if you own a boat and don't have crew (or a skipper) and want to get out on the water please let me know.  I've had several really good sailors call me an ask if I knew of boats available to sail on.  I sailed on a Capri 25 last week and it was a blast.  It was a virtual who's who of WYC sailors as I saw top sailors from Sonars, J24, J22 and S27.9 all out racing.  There are lots of talented sailors in the club and lots of learning opportunities.  Please let me know if you would like my help in identifing someone to sail with.  It would be fun to pull in some sailors from other fleets too, to show them just how much fun it is to sail a J22.
