Changes to Technical Ruling effective July 1, 2018:
Technical Ruling
Electronic Devices/Compass – Permitted?
Source: International Technical Committee 2018
Electronic compasses that display head/lift information are permitted. Electronic devices and speedometers, including those based on GPS receivers, such as the Velocitek Speed Puck and Novasail NS 100, are permitted. Instruments capable of locating the start line and distance to it, such as the Velocitek Pro Start, are permitted. The Technical Committee will review additional electronic devices periodically.

Are these now also legal for club racing?
