J/22 Fleet #1:

J/22 World Championship/Who’s Going?

The J/22 Class Association wants to know who from our district will be going to the J/22 World Championship. The dates are Sept. 8 – 14. It’s in Annapolis. There’s one boat from Duluth and many more already registered. If you’re planning on going, register and email me. If you’re thinking of going or don’t want people to know you’re going, email me.

Need Crew or Looking to Crew? There’s a FREE App for that.

J/22 Fleet #1 is trying out the GoSailing App to connect boats with available crew. We had Wayzata Yacht Club added as a club location. It’s free and very easy to use. When you go out there, you’ll see that moxXie is looking for a crew person for Saturday. GoSailing is very easy to use and offers two-way communication without giving your telephone number and email address to the everyone.

The more people that use it, the easier it will be for all of us to find boats to race and crew to race on our boats. And yes, you can steal crew from 1318 and 810. Kevin and John said it was OK. 😊
