<DIV>Please mark your calendar for the upcoming weekend of June 11-12. Saturday is the Family Fun Regatta. This is the former ADA event that is now only one day and focused on family sailing. There are many ways to win, including hosting children and non-racing adults, raising the most funds, having a skipper under 16, and special categories including youngest average age, most generations, and youngest skipper.
<DIV> </DIV>I know there are a ton of Fleet 1 people with young families , THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. Get the kids out and show them how much fun this is! </DIV>

<DIV>Boat owners: please make your boats available if you're not sailing in this. This is a great opportunity to get new people involved or get your families out. I'm naming names here: Klick, Komis, Noller, Baker, Olness, Anderson, Andy Foster, Will Foster, Paidosh, Hansen (George), Peterson, Lovald, Thompson, Johnson, Mackenzie, Pine, etc. MYC boats? You're already out there, just sign up. This is your chance to get out there with the kids in a less competitive environment. Find a boat and let's go! We're one of the largest fleets in the club, we need to set the example. It's all for a great cause. Barbecue to follow at the club. </DIV>

<DIV>As if that's not enough, we're hosting the A Series party on "Fat" Sunday, 6/12. Preparing our fleet for the upcoming J-22 Worlds, the theme will be Mardi Gras with a great New Orleans menu, Hurricanes, and of course the rum bar. Thanks to everyone who has offered to help and contributed. Please contact Jill (cc'd on this) if you haven't already if you're available to help. Again, bring your family, bring your friends, it's a great way to get more people interested in the club and the sport.</DIV>
