I just wanted everyone to know of a very special event that will be coming up on Sept 26th- from12p-3p.  Do you remember the two girls that were in a plane crash up in Grand Marais Aug 28th 2003 and survived?  Their mom and uncle died in the crash. Lily and Grace were severely burned and were in the woods 5-6 hours alone.  Lily was 3 and Grace was 4 at the time of the crash.


Anyway, we are having a Spirit Flight Kite Festival at Grandmas Sports Garden.  It will include a K-9 Unit, Fire engine, Kids Booth with face painting, temporary tatoos, picture frame making, a clown will be there.  It will also have a silent auction (with awesome items) and an Ebay Auction.  Cost $10.00 for over 12 years old, 5-11 years old $5.00 and under 5 free.   It will be a great time and all the money will go to the care of Grace and Lily.
