LOWISA: Come Sail With Us on Lake of the Woods

Did you know that Lake of the Woods boasts some of the best freshwater
sailing in the world?

It’s no secret: every August, hundreds of sailors of all skill levels from
across North America come together to celebrate, race and relax on LOWISA,
a week-long boating regatta that weaves through many of the beautiful
islands that are the jewels of this spectacular lake.

August 3, 2013 will mark the 48th year of this famous racing and cruising
event.

With such a long tradition under their belts, Lake of the Woods sailors can
tell you what’s forecast for this upcoming LOWISA: great boating and racing
in a fun-filled and family friendly environment. Also in the forecast:
bonfires and barbecues, water fights, starry nights, live music and daily
kids activities, including a treasure hunt featuring real pirates.

Don’t forget your sunscreen.
