Dear J24 fleet:
As you rig your boat tomorrow for the practice race prior to the big regatta, can I PLEASE ask you to check your sail inventory carefully, just in case you inadvertently collected a North genoa from #2237 by mistake. There's a fabric tag with "RedCoat #2237" on the drawstring.
It may look old, soft, and scruffy to you, but it's the best I have, and I'd realy really like to use it for the first time tomorrow. Trust me, you'll be happier with your own sails than you will be with one of mine.
So, when you discover an blue bag in the vee-berth, or your bowman hoists a genoa with an unfamiliar sail number, please call me on 763.360.8587.
