Hi Brian,

I will pick you up Friday afternoon at the airport. Friday night you can
give a clinic on sail shape and talk about the drills and what you want
people to do on the water. Saturday morning about 9 or 9:30 the J 22 and J
24 fleets will be at the yacht club with their teams to go on the water with
you in a coach boat and a videographer. They can decide whether they want to
stay on the water till 3 o'clock or so in the afternoon or they want to come
in for lunch. I think in the past most teams voted to stay on the water.
After you come off the water Saturday afternoon, probably 3 or 4 o'clock
there will be a video debrief with you in the clubhouse. About 6 o'clock
Saturday night the 2nd group of one design boats, the Sonar and the Capri
25's will come to the yacht club for whatever program you want to put on. If
the sail shape program that you put on is quite long maybe you want to do
half Friday night in the other half Saturday. Then all fleets can be there
both Friday and Saturday night. Sunday morning the Sonars and Capri's will
have their on the water session with you in a coach boat and a video
photographer. Come in about noon and people will have time for a short
debrief before they go out for the champ race with a warning at 2 PM. I was
thinking you could go to the champ race on the coach boat with a
photographer and view stuff to show the yacht club after the race. We will
then take you to the airport.

See schedule, below:

6:00 PM Friday: The 4 fleets above are invited to the WYC for beer and
pizza, and to hear Brian Hayes give a clinic on sail shape and trim.

8 AM Saturday: On the Water Training Program begins with Continental
breakfast. The Sonars and Capri 25's are needed to take the WYC guests on
the water for the training about 9 o'clock for Ernie to assign guests to
your boat.

9:30 AM Saturday: J 22 and J 24 fleets arrive for organizing clinic with
Brian in the clubhouse. They go on the water where Brian will have a coach
boat driver and video camera operator for the drills he wants you to do. As
a fleet you can choose to stay on the water all day, eating your lunch on
the water, or you can choose to come in at 12:30 PM and enjoy the grilled
lunch the WYC is serving to the guests with beer and wine.

4 PM Saturday: The fleets will come off the water into the clubhouse for a
debrief with the videos for the day, and each attendee will receive a DVD of
the videos that day and Brian's comments on the water.

6 PM Saturday: Sonar & Capri 25 fleets arrive at the clubhouse for a light
supper and beer, and to hear Brian set up the drills for Sunday morning, and
to socialize. The J boats can stay provided they are quiet so that the
seminar Brian gives can be heard by the other fleets.

9 AM Sunday: The Sonars and Capri 25's for the same drills described above
for the J boats

12 PM Sunday: The Sonars & Capri 25's, off the water for a debrief with
Brian, bring your own lunch.

1:00 PM Sunday: All fleets go out for the 1st A Series Race. We are
contemplating having Brian in a coach boat with a video camera operator
taking video during the race.

5 PM Sunday: Bert and Carmella will take Brian to the airport to catch a 7
o'clock plane home.

Looking Forward to your visit,

Bert

Bert-

Assume all is still on for this weekend...

I have a longish powerpoint on sail trim and design for one evening
session.. I assume Friday..

I was thinking the other evening would be more focus on video recap and
using a whiteboard for a Q&A session.. Have folks bring their questions and
I'll do my best to answer anything that comes up..

Looks like I will be on water on Saturday and Sunday from 9-3.

Which are practice session times and which are racing times??

I'd like to organize the time on the water as best I can so we get good
footage and can help folks get better so knowing which windows are open or
closed would help..

Thanks,

Brian
