This looks like a great event!!!! I only wish I can attend.

Ingram is an incredible representative for speed and smarts in the J/24 and sure showed that he could make his way around Minnetonka when he was here for Nat’l in 2013.

If someone goes to this, see if they are recording the event. He has done YouTube recordings of seminars before.

Great Opportunity.

Thanks,

rsg

Hi David,

Haven't talked to you in a long time. It's good to hear from you

Sounds like you're going to have a really elite coaching seminar. As you may know, I have been setting up elite coaching three day clinics at WYC for the last three years. We bring in an elite coach like Andrew Kerr on Friday afternoon they do a three to 4 hour seminar Friday night with PowerPoint and pictures, and we serve pizza. Saturday is all day on the water. We provide a coach boat in a coach boat driver and a video operator so the coach can organize the sailors into drills catch them on video and talk to them on the water. They then come in around 4 o'clock and do a video debrief. We have a nice dinner, and they do another seminar that evening. Sunday morning is an on the water program or a continued debriefing from the previous day. I take him to the airport and they're on their way home.

This year I have Kristin Barry who is the director and coaches the 27 coaches at the J Worlds multiple locations around the country.

I don't know much about Mike Ingram but would be interested in knowing:

1. what does he do for a living?

2. does he use professional PowerPoint programs like North U, J Worlds, and others?

3. What are you paying him for the seminar and how far does he have to come?

4. what did you think of his seminar?

If you have an interest in piggybacking off our seminar it might benefit both clubs as we would have less transportation costs and we could get a package deal for less money. Of course the problem is that everybody wants the seminar stuff on the weekend and that would not work by having him work Friday through Sunday at WYC Drive Duluth Sunday night give you guys a one or two day seminar or even just a seminar that evening and then fly out Monday. Let me know what you think

Regards,

Bert
