Greetings J24's

This week will be race #3 of the "M" 5:45 in the bay, expect to see another
dual course set up.


*Fleet Challenge Cup - 11am warning 9/9*

Please join us Saturday, September 9th to kick start this new,* three-race*,
single-day cup event, which we hope will become a WYC tradition.  This is
an exciting opportunity with a new twist for the fleets to not only compete
against each other on an equal playing field, but to bring the fleets
together through a unique competition. The specific Sailing Instructions
for the event is printed at the end of the WYC Sailing Instructions
(Addendum B), which includes the starting sequence.

- This is going to be a total blast, some of you I suspect may have never
raced PHRF before, let me know if you have any questions on the format and
scoring.

We have had a really nice turnout the last few Sundays (5 boats) , I would
really like to get 7-8 boats on the line for this. Let me know if you need
drivers or crew.

Last Sunday we had- Oz, Motorhome, Hellfire, Bork, Bubbles

 Amazingly we give the Capri's 3 seconds per mile and the 22's 9 seconds
per mile, the S2's owe us only 3 seconds per mile.  What does this mean?
if everyone sails to their rating, it's going to be very very close racing.
The forecast looks perfect 11-17 KNTS SE

There is a club sponsored party after racing on Saturday.
