[J24 ListSrv] Fleet Challenge Cup and Fall Regatta

Calling all J24 Sailors! Looking for a boat count!!

The Fleet Challenge Cup and first day of the Fall Regatta is this Saturday
Sept. 22.  The second annual Fleet Challenge races are an exciting new race
event enjoyed by many boats last year for the first time. The idea of this
event is to have all fleets in the club racing against each other via the
PHRF rating system and determine the Champion Fleet .  

Some small changes have been made from last year's format. This year there
will be 2 races back to back instead of 3 on Saturday. There will be 4
smaller starts in each race (instead of two big starts as was done last
year) for the two Saturday races only.  Please see the breakdown of the
starting order for Saturday races on page 10 of the WYC SI's, or on the WYC
website. The Fleet  Challenge Cup trophy and top finishing boat prize's will
be awarded shortly after the race on shore during the provided lunch!

Remember the more boats you have racing from your fleet the better chance
you have of winning the Fleet Championship.

You can also look up your PHRF rating in the 'Scratch Sheet' link also
located on the WYC website under the 'Results'  page. Keep in mind all
ratings for one design Fleets have already been established as of last year.

The Saturday Fleet Challenge races (2) are the same first two races of the
Fall Regatta. These races will be scored for both the Fleet Challenge Cup
and then separately scored for the Fall Regatta results.

Please read all the rules and eligibility for the event listed on page 10 of
the SI's.

Don't forget about the Chili cook off on Sunday hosted by the PHRF fleet.
