Dave Cool Memorial Icebreaker Regatta History

In honor of Dave Cool, this regatta is traditionally the first race of the season. This is a regatta for the hearty J/22 and J/24 sailors that are eager to race in the cold and typically very windy conditions – baptism by fire. Dave Cool enjoyed helping get others involved in sailing. He worked hard to help encourage the J/22 fleet to get their boats in the water and ready to sail.
