-->J/24s and J/22s: Registrations are rolling in for the Dave Cool Memorial Icebreaker regatta. And the weather is predicted to be wonderful for this weekend. Dave Cool would likely say that cold-weather wusses have no excuse this year. You know who you are… Dave Bennett, Eric Christenson, MWST and John Dyer, among others. The regatta is May 1 and 2. Yes, this weekend. Here’s a link to the NOR/SIs. Thanks again Kevin for all you do! There’s still time to pick up your boat, sign up for the crane, drop your in boat, register, pay and race! We have noticed a few boats that are in the water and haven’t registered and paid yet (En Fuego, Who’s Driving and others). As a reminder, you can ONLY register and pay for the Dave Cool Memorial Icebreaker regatta online. We’re sailors for crap sake! Be green! If you bring a check, you will be loudly ridiculed from a proper distance by people you may or may not recognize because they will likely be wearing masks. The tall one laughing the hardest will be Bob Leach, J/22 fleet treasurer extraordinaire. Thanks Bob, Beth and Kari for volunteering for race committee. After racing on Saturday, everyone is invited to help us support a long-time sponsor and J/22 fleet member at LynLake Brewery for exceptional beverages and food. No Josh Bones, this isn't included in the regatta fees. But, it'll be fun to hear your sailing stories, again.
