<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">That is a good point, however, the main
problem with the <b><i>Shore Station </i></b>lifts is the horizontal Winch
tube. That is the horizontal tube that has the pulley system that
link the front & back bunks. That tube should not be in the water,
because it has metal bearings for the pulleys. Once the tube
ends up submerged you can have issues when the tube comes out with the
bearings going bad. So today when I pull my lift up I plan to spray
as much lubricant in those pulleys (type of lube TBD).</font>
