Get a 2013 Tax Deduction By Cleaning Your Old Sails Out Of Your

Garage and Donating Them to the Wayzata Sailing Foundation

Drop off as many bags of sails at you want at the WYC any time in the next 2
weeks. Put them inside the clubhouse in the South East corner. Be sure to
TAG the sails (tags are there) with your name and email address, so The
Wayzata Community Sailing Center (WCSC) can email you an acknowledgment of
your donation without a description of the value, and a statement that you
received no goods or services for this gift. The value you put on the
donation is between you, your tax preparer, and your conscience. All sails
will be accepted

The Wayzata Sailing Foundation has an arrangement with
<http://www.boathousebags.com> www.boathousebags.com to pick up the sails
and make one of their wonderful boathouse bags for each sail received, and
the foundation can then sell them to raise funds. Any questions, call John
Speltz 952-922-1738 (Creator of the Plan) or Howard Noreen 612-804-8498
(President of WCSC)

Designate Your United Way Gift to the Wayzata Sailing Foundation

We are at that time of the season when much of corporate America is asking
their employees to make a payroll deduction gift to the United Way. If you
are doing this, we would like you to read on.

You can make your United Way gift from your payroll deduction and when you
sign up on the sign-up card, you can request that your gift be passed on to
the Wayzata Sailing Foundation, a 501c(3) Charitable Foundation Federal Tax
ID Number: 41-1986402.

You kill two birds with one stone. You satisfy your corporate employer, who
supports the United Way, because you signed up for a payroll deduction.
Simultaneously you satisfy your burning desire as a certifiably crazy
passionate sailboat racer to support the foundation of the WYC to train the
next generation of sailors and to help all kinds of people learned to sail.
