[Phrf] Meeting Highlights

Hey PHRFers,

Here's the scoop from the PHRF Fleet meeting.


1) The J/70s (three of them as of today) will NOT be sailing in PHRF1 this
year, but in a development OD class called PHRF 3. They will Start with
PHRF1, but not be scored with them. Just like the Ensigns.


2) No fleet rule changes.


3) The SI changes made last year regarding spins/protests/arbitration stays
the same for this year.


4) At least two new PHRF 1 boats, an Impulse 20 and and Impulse 27.


5) No news on any new PHRF 2 boats.


6) New two-race Sundays, called the BOGO series. See schedule. The four
days (8 races) will also score as a new series, no trophies as yet.


7) As mentioned in an previous email, the Fall regatta and Fleet challenge
will run concurrently, with the Fleet challenge being scored from the
Saturday races.
