[S2] Star of the North Regatta

There will be an organizational meeting for the Star of the North Regatta after this Thursday's bay race. Time is getting very short and things need to get done. Please come sign up. If we don't have full rosters of help from all the fleets after this meeting, it will be time to start reducing the scope of the regatta. A lot is planned, but it takes many people to make it all happen. Saturday's banquet and band is a given, but the rum party to start the evening off needs sponsors and people to plan it. The morning continental breakfasts will only happen if there is a team in place to take that on. Need people to make sure the burgers and brats are grilled and served after 4 races on Friday. The regatta tee shirt has yet be designed, but that may be OK as only about 5 have been sold on the regatta site. We need someone to step up and take charge of the tee shirt and we need people to sign up your boats and order the shirts so we know what to buy. Do you have connections with the businesses that we support every week. If so, let us know who you will solicit for raffle goodies or sponsorship.
