[S2] Star of the North update

10 days till the regatta starts. The shirt sales went well and are ordered.
Time to get the boats signed up. To date there are 7- Capri-25s, 10-Sonars
and 4-S2-79s signed up to race. On Friday the registration fee goes from
$100 to $125, so please register at the Star of the North web page of the
WYC web site today to avoid paying more. Click here to register:

While you are there order your dinner tickets for Saturday night. 1 ticket
is included with your registration. The balance you will need to keep your
crew happy are $12 each till the start of the regatta or $15 at the door.
Lunches are also available for $8 each for Friday and Saturday.

 

This year each fleet is responsible for providing volunteers for 1 day. The
Sonars have Friday, the C25s have Saturday and the S2-7.9s have Sunday. Your
fleet captains have a list of people needed to help cook, serve and clean up
on your assigned day. Please help your fleet captain out by volunteering so
they don't have to scramble or do it all themselves!!!

 

We are also looking for 2 or 3 volunteers to help on the race committee
boats each day. If you can help with this, or know someone who is willing,
please contact me.
