[S2] Asking for your help with Wine on Wayzata Bay live auction item

Hi everyone,

Plans are moving forward for another great event at the yacht club on Friday, June 28.  Last year, the stars aligned and we were able to give Wayzata Community Sailing a check for over $60,000.  It will be a challenge to reach or surpass that number this year, but we surely will try our best.

One fundraising activity at WOWB is the Live Auction, featuring one really special item.  This year, we would like to auction a trip... A trip to a very special place, including accommodations and transportation.

We are hoping to find someone (does not have to be a WYC member) who owns a property that they would offer to our auction "winners" for several days, or a week.  No time-shares, please.

If we cannot identify a property owned by a generous supporter of WCSC, we will look into options to pool Marriott points.

For the transportation piece, does anyone work for an airline, or have a contact who would approach an airline to donate the air travel for two people?  Does anyone know if any airlines allow pooling of frequent flyer miles?  Put on your creativity hat and help us if you can.
