[S2] Local-ish deck recoring?

Hi all -

I'm a new 7.9 owner and live down in Des Moines, Iowa. I purchased my boat,
hull 493, from some folks up your way earlier in the season.

The deck on my boat has some balsa core rot. The primary concern is the
cabintop roof, which has a rather soft section to the port side. Rather
than tackle it myself, I'm interested to pay someone way too much money to
do it for me. Preferably as an overwinter project as I'm having too much
fun with the boat at the moment.

I wonder if anyone has had portions of their 7.9 deck recored up near
Minneapolis, and if y'all have any recommendations for good versus bad
repair experiences, and costs involved? I know it can a rather pricey job
to do (and that prices vary widely based on how much needs doing). I'm just
fishing for ideas on who to even talk to in the Midwest, that doesn't
involve hauling the boat all the way to Chicago or even further east...

And I suppose if you have some horrible thing to say about some shop that
would violate the list rules, feel free to write me directly ;-).
