I am interested in the weigh in as well.. The next question would be, how do you put a Sonar on a diet? ummmm?

Subject: [Sonar] Weighing Sonars

Fellow Sonar Enthusiasts (a.k.a. Sonar Geeks)

Mark K. mentioned weighing his boat. I also plan to weight ours but won't be doing it until Spring. Scales are available for rent from Olson Chain and Cable for $25/day. These scales go between the hook and the load on the crane. I asked him about renting over a weekend and he said if a scale was picked up Friday afternoon and returned Monday, it would be a one day rental. They have numerous scales including a 2500lb capacity that would be inside of 5lbs accurate. If that scale was not in stock that day, they also have a 5000lb that's within 10lbs. I'll plan a Spring Weight-Watchers Weigh-In. Details forthcoming, probably in late March.
