[Sonar] Sailing School Cruise
Sonar Sailors
Cappy has requested that a number of Sonars and Ensigns host the Sailing
School kids on Friday, August 4. August 4 is the day of the Wayzata 152
Regatta. What Cappy has in mind is that a group of Sonars and Ensigns
take the kids out to watch some of the races and then sail to Excelsior,
have pizza (Friday is pizza day) and return in time for awards. There
would be abouit 30 kids so we need at least 5 boats. The destination is
probably weather/wind dependent. More details as the date approaches.
This is an opportunity to show young people about boats larger than prams
and 420s.
Any takers?
Ernest
