Opportunity for one Wayzata fleet member to crew for us in the Sonar Class 
Kirby Cup






Hi everyone, 
 
Steve & I wanted to let everyone know that we had a great time last 
weekend, and really enjoyed the fleet.
We?d also like to thank you for our parting gift, which has been donated 
to the US Olympic Disabled Sailing Team
on behalf of Sonar Fleet #5.
 
We?ve determined that we can fit one crew member onto the Noroton team for 
the Kirby Cup, which is the 
Sonar class team race regatta.
 
It is being held on Sat. June 10th & Sunday June 11th at Seawanhaka Yacht 
Club in Oyster Bay NY.  We?d need to 
know ASAP if anyone is interested (we need a firm commitment) in order to 
complete our team.  The person would have to fly into NY (LaGuardia
or JFK) Friday night, and fly out Sunday early evening. We will arrange 
housing & transportation.  Unfortunately, we
already have a house full of Steve?s family visiting for his mother?s 80th 
birthday, so we?ll arrange something else for housing.
 
So, please pass the word on, and let us know ASAP.  The crew member does 
not need any experience at all in team racing.  However,
it will be a great introduction to the sport, and will hopefully lead to 
your fleet sending their own team next year.
