[Sonar] Lowisa - Average Points?

Opinion on this issue seems to be polarized into two camps of course;
those who went to Lowisa and those that didn't.

The facts are that there was no discussion about average points during
the Fleet meeting.  There should have been, but there wasn't. What has
already been decided upon, and agreed as a Fleet ruling, is that average
points will be awarded for a Sonar Class Association sanctioned event,
i.e. one that was posted on the SCA Calendar (available on the
www.sca.org web site).  The reasoning is that Fleet members should be
encouraged to attend regional, national and international regattas in
order to increase the visibility of Fleet 5 within a competitive Sonar
environment.

I propose we close the matter now and table it for discussion at next
season's Fleet meeting.
