[Sonar] Off Season Activity Opportunity

It is a great time.  It will be fun to connect others.  I expect to do the
2009 Birkie along with my two oldest kids, Eric & Jessica.  A little bit of
aerobic capacity is useful for skiing.  The training for beer & brats on
Main Street in Hayward is the toughest part.

I was wondering if any Sonar fleet members would be interested in skiing the
Birke in 2010.  Registration is only $70 if you do it before June 30th.

The course is one of the most beautiful ones that I have seen.  The event
does not really require any training or special athletic ability.  It is
true you will be less sore if you ski some before the day of the event, but
it is always a lot of fun.  It's only 56k and they have a shorter course if
you are not so gung ho.  The slower skiers get to start after the speedy
ones so there is no pressure.

 

Anyway, Diane and I are signed up.  Chris said he may come also.
