Has anyone in our fleet successfully installed a BarneyPost to the mainsheet traveller? 
 
I notice a large amount of flex in my traveller in the heavier winds yesterday. 
 
The Shumway solution looks to cosst about $225 but is mean to fit over a premolded form in the sole of the cockpit.  I am looking for an effective low cost solution.
 
Any ideas would be appreciated.
