[Sonar] Star of the North Regatta

Sonar Fleet,

There was a meeting Sunday August 15th to discuss the upcoming Star of the North Regatta taking place September 24, 25, and 26th.  Updated info from Carmella is as follows...

Same fee as last year @ $125 which includes 4 dinner tickets per boat for Fri night and Sat night (x-tra tickets available @ $10 each)

Mount Gay rum hats this year, 4 to a boat

Breakfast will be very simple - so don't count on it as your only food source 
Box lunches are available for purchase @ $8 (not included with registration)

Friday dinner planned as burgers and brats
Sat dinner planned as smoked chicken
Sun lunch planned as burgers, and leftovers

Gear logo is being organized to include t-shirts long and sort sleeved, technical shirts long and short sleeved, ladies v-neck technical short sleeved, ladies tank top.  Ordering will be able to happen via web site.  If placed before 9/5 they will be delivered in time for regatta.

 Always looking for volunteers!  Obtaining raffle prizes, finding sponsors, finding a band for one of the nights
Looking for Sonars that do not plan on participating, but would be available for charter in the disabled/Appendix B format.  So far we have Captain Hook, Sesame Street, Tally Ho, and Ship Weck.  Would like one more.

Dan MacNamarrra can match you up with crew if you need help on some days.
