Tom,
You are right if the cost is airline ticket++, but if he comes for free, on North Sails, then your only considerstion is, are there enough people to have a decent size clinic and not embarrass the WYC or Fleet #5. I would say a minimun of 12 sailors.

Hi Sonar Sailors,
Brian Hayes does and excellent clinic. If you want to get better, GO TO THE CLINIC!

Brian has coached Team Captain Hook a number of times. The one regret I have about my sailing career is that I didn't get any coaching the first 30 years.

Regards,
Bert

Bert:
So far for Brian's clinic, I have zero interest/attendance commitments. I've gotten 6 negative replies back.
My fear is that there will be so few of us, that the cost burden of his coming will fall on just a few of us that are willing to commit to be there...the others will be non-commital and won't help with costs.

Tom, Even if some of aren't going to be in town, (I will be gone) have Brian come anyway, as he can really help. You can use the Club Whaler (talk to Dan) and marks in the committee boat. Best to have a video camera and be able to show them in the club house. Have fun and learn.

Tom-
I have been buried and apologize for not getting back to you.. As of this morning the Aug 12-13 dates opened up for me.
It may be too last minute to put anything together but I could come for Fri-Sat but would have to get back east early Sun as I have to travel again early that week..
My cell is 203.887.1176..
Email or call if it is still an option you and the gang want to explore.
