We seem to "have enough interest" as JR said that the Team Race is happening... So I assumed your motion was in play, and why I asked the question...

“After reviewing my notes, I show we approved not scoring the Big Island that conflicted with the Lonar and the C series race that conflicted with the Star of the North.
I do not show that we approved not scoring the Fall Regatta.
 
We approved electronic voting as part of our last meeting.
 
Marty, do we have enough interest in the Team Race?
I plan on participating.
If we do have enough interest, the Team Race is a Sonar Fleet Race and I would then make a motion that we vote to not score the Fall Regatta races that conflict with the Team Race.”
 
What does the group think at this point?

When was that motion made?  This is the first I have heard of it.  I think that the two events can exist side-by-side without problem.  There is a more limited audience for team racing.

So that motion is still out there... no seconds, no vote... 

 

If the Sonar fleet isn't going to be at the Fall Regatta 

    1. We need to actually DECIDE that

    2. Someone should TELL THE REST OF THE FLEET that...

    3. Someone should tell the RC... 

 

I hate to be pedantic, but I've got crew asking "What's going on??"
