Hi Bruce,

You have a great club and a great fleet.  Just for your info, the Wayzata
Yacht Club, Sonar Fleet #5 gets 17-19 boats out for some of the club series.
I don't know if we could claim the most active fleet.  However, we would
love to have those big 40-60 boat fleets for regattas.  We are going to try
to take 4-5 boats to the Worlds next summer to RYC.

Noroton Yacht Club and Fleet 1 invite all Sonar sailors to join us for the
2012 Long Island Sound Championships.

Racing will take place on September 29-30. 

As an extra bonus, Noroton has invited all travel boats to remain with us to
participate in Fleet racing on October 7 and 14. As you know, Noroton has a
large and active fleet. A normal Sunday will see 13-15 boats out racing. Why
not finish the 2012 season with some great fleet races?

The club only asks that all boats pack up and leave no later than Sunday
October 14 as our club haul-out day is that week.

Attached is the NOR for the LIS Championships. Online registration is open
at: www.sonar.org/

Early registration ends on Friday.
